Teruo Furuya, director and principle instructor of the Kokusai Shakuhachi Kenshukan in Japan, first collaborative CD with contemporary Japanese composer Keisuke Doi.
A masterful exploration of the shakuhachi and its possibilities in the contemporary music context, featuring support from Kazushi Matama (shakuhachi), Kaoru Kakizakai (shakuhachi), Tomoko Nozaka (silver flute), Sanomoe Kineya (sangen) and Mizuka Onishi (koto).
